Belarus and the War in Ukraine

Date:

Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus and unconditional ally and friend of Vladimir Putin, is doing a lot of juggling to please the Russian president. Since the start of the invasion of Ukraine, Lukashenko has been very vocal and willing to help his master from Russia. His behavior about taking Belarus and its army to war against Ukraine to help Russia has been very combative throughout the invasion.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the war, he knew that Russia was a military superpower, as many nations knew it, but as time was passing by, he as well as many nations found out that the great superpower of Russia was losing a lot of soldiers, equipment, internal and external support, and above all its DIGNITY as a nation that is sending its soldiers to fight without food, proper equipment, ammunition, interest or motivation, and at the same time is fighting a moral and economic war inside Russia by the family members of those Russian soldiers that up to now have been close to 130,000 deaths and more than 240,000 wounded.

Belarus’s president knows that by going to war with Ukraine he will be putting its citizens and country in the same grave and bad position as where it is now Russia. Besides the condemnation from more than 100 countries, economic sanctions, and the internal problems in his country that will include his political position. Up to now, just a few countries are willing to help Russia, like North Korea and Iran, which are in a worse economic position but many others have retired from helping Russia once they saw the catastrophic consequences of its actions against their own country and how it is deteriorating every single day.

Now Russia is “begging” for a solution to make peace, to retire from Ukraine because it is losing the war, its soldiers, and equipment, but at the same time, internally, Russia is bragging about its power as a super nation with what they think is their “great” leader Putin.

If Belarus’s president Lukashenko use just a few COMMON SENSE, he will not take Belarus to fight in Ukraine and the best way where he can come “clean” is by starting a “cooling period” from his hysterical emotions, knowing that when emotions go up, the reasoning goes down, but sometimes common sense doesn’t come out from people like the “yes man” of Lukashenko’s personality…

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR OPINION.
